IN THE BEGINNING
launched on the 2nd August 2021, The OPEN Cabaret Society aims to support the local arts scene.
Starting off as a small weekly gathering of Queer artists. Coming together to create shows and expand their artistic experience. each week came with a new theme, new costumes and new laughter. a small venue giving the performance an intimate feeling and allowing audience members to e completely immerse in a wonderful world by a small change in lighting and cardboard props.

As the project evolved we expanded into various space types from a small pub venue to a larger club style venue, as well as developing our production knowledge and resources. now with all the knowledge we have gained from all the learning as we go, we now wish for this project to become a movement for the mainstream conversation about artists and their work. As well as creating a space to support artists and make a life in art a friendlier and safer. |

This Seasons Calendar
This years season has been programmed with the primary goal of including as many variations in art as possible as well as including and promoting as many arts spaces as possible. the aim is to create a community with the art work at the center of the conversation rather than the price or support level from government.
